SentiLink Fraud Forum Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the SentiLink Fraud Forum (the “Forum”). These Terms of Use supplement but do not otherwise modify any other agreement you may have with SentiLink Corp. (“SentiLink”).
- Forum Resources. As a “partner-member” of the Forum, you will have access to Forum-wide resources and may be invited to join additional channels (e.g., industry-specific channels).
- Authorized Users. Each partner-member is responsible for ensuring that only its authorized persons access the Forum (each, a “user”). Each partner-member will inform SentiLink of the users for which it requests access to the Forum. SentiLink will confirm the users and will provide login credentials and authentication for each user.
- GLBA Purposes. Partner-members and users shall post fraud risk-related content in the Forum consistent with the purposes of preventing actual or potential fraud, loss, or other liability, as set forth in the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
- No Identifying Consumers or Applicants. Each partner-member agrees that it will not, and each of its users will not, post or share personal information on the Forum that identifies a consumer or applicant. Specifically, please do not post the following information from an application or accountholder: name; social security number; date of birth; full and unique residential address.
- Confidentiality. No user shall copy or reproduce the Partner Content (defined below) of any other partner-member’s user. No partner-member or user shall copy or reproduce any SentiLink Content (defined below) without the advance written consent of SentiLink. SentiLink shall keep all Partner Content confidential (subject to SentiLink’s limited rights as provided in Section 8).
- User Conduct. Each partner-member is responsible for its users’ participation in the Forum and activities on the Forum. You agree that your users will use the Forum responsibly and professionally. Users must not: (a) post unlawful or defamatory content; (b) share personal information of a consumer; (c) share proprietary or confidential information without authorization; (d) impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent their affiliation; (e) use the Forum for unsolicited promotions or spam; or (f) harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
- SentiLink IP Rights. All content and materials provided by SentiLink, including logos, text, graphics, and software (the “SentiLink Content”), are the property of SentiLink and are protected by copyright and other laws.
- Partner-Member IP Rights. Partner-members (or users, as applicable) retain ownership of the content posted by a user (“Partner Content”), but you grant SentiLink a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Forum. In addition, you grant SentiLink the right to create derivative works based on your Partner Content, provided that (i) SentiLink does not reproduce or publicly disclose your original Partner Content itself, and (ii) any derivative works are created and used in a manner that protects the confidentiality and identity of you and your users. You are solely responsible for your Partner Content and agree that it: (a) does not infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party, and (b) complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Content. SentiLink may edit or remove any content from the Forum in its sole discretion.
- Third Party Services. SentiLink solely determines any third party services to be used in connection with the Forum (including, without limitation, Slack) and makes no warranties regarding any such third party service.
- Data Retention. SentiLink intends that all Forum content will be automatically deleted from the Forum after 90 days, and such deletion may be implemented via a third party mechanism (e.g., Slack’s automatic data deletion process).
- No Use for FCRA Purposes. No partner-member or user may use the Forum, any information from the Forum, or any other information provided by SentiLink, for any permissible purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Forum Changes; Access. SentiLink may, in its sole discretion, add, remove, amend, modify and/or update the Forum or any feature of the Forum at any time, and may suspend or terminate the access privileges of any partner or user, with or without notice.
- Third Party Links. The Forum may contain links to third-party websites or resources, which may be posted or made available by SentiLink or a Forum user. SentiLink is not responsible for the content, products, or services on or available from those websites or resources.
- No Liability. SentiLink is not liable for any claims arising out of a partner-member’s or a user’s use of the Forum.
- No Warranties. The Forum is provided “as is” and “as available.” SentiLink disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Changes to Terms of Use. SentiLink reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Continued use of the Forum after changes are posted constitutes the partner-member’s acceptance of the new Terms of Use.
